Sussanne nominated for international design award
A decade into the business of interior design, and Sussanne Roshan has found validation on an international platform.
The 35-year-old entrepreneur-star wife has been nominated for the prestigious Quintessentially Awards, Asia Pacific as ‘Designer of the Year’ in the Interior Design Category. She shares this nomination with four other names, including Thomas Hamel from Australia, the design firm Aedas (that has also worked on the Delhi Metro) and Alan Chan from Hong Kong.

Says Roshan, “I’m overwhelmed. I don’t care if I win; it’s just really nice to be nominated.”
That she’s been selected alongside some international heavyweights has shocked the petite design maven. “They are all world class design professionals and I really respect them. I’ve always wanted to be part of the world class interior design community and to be recognised as a serious designer, so this is a small step in that direction.” The awards ceremony will take place in Hong Kong on November 1 and Sussanne will be attending the event along with husband Hrithik Roshan.
